Dr. Nasrin Sadeghizadeh is a highly experienced nephrologist with over 20 years of expertise in nephrology, internal medicine, and kidney-related diseases. Her career began as an internist in 1998, before pursuing a fellowship in nephrology from 2001 to 2003. Since 2004, Dr. Nasrin has been practicing as a nephrologist, specializing in acute and chronic kidney diseases, renal replacement therapies, diabetic nephropathy, and kidney transplantation.

Dr. Nasrin received her medical degree (MD) from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 1994, followed by a specialty in Internal Medicine in 1998. She later completed her subspecialty in nephrology at Iran University of Medical Sciences in 2003. Her qualifications also include the National Board of Internal Medicine and Nephrology, and certification in Peritoneal Dialysis from Vitznau, Switzerland, in 2007.

In her academic career, Dr. Nasrin has held several notable positions, including serving as an assistant professor of nephrology at Mashhad University of Medical Science and Zahedan University of Medical Science. She was also head of the Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Ward, and Kidney Transplantation Ward at Zahedan University from 2007 to 2008. Dr. Nasrin later worked as a consultant nephrologist at Milad Hospital in Tehran from 2008 to 2017, before taking on the role of Head of Nephrology at Parsian Hospital. Since 2013, she has also been a consultant nephrologist at Khatam-Al-Anbia Hospital, Tehran.

Throughout her career, Dr. Nasrin has demonstrated a strong commitment to research and education. Her publications include a thesis on the prevalence of pituitary gland adenoma, a study on ECG changes following cardiac exercise tests, and research on Cytomegalovirus seropositivity. She has also presented her work at prestigious medical conferences, including a lecture on diabetic nephropathy at the Iranian Society of Nephrology Congress in 2003.

Dr. Nasrin is a dedicated member of the Iranian Society of Nephrology and remains actively involved in advancing the field of kidney care. Her special interests include managing acute and chronic kidney diseases, diabetic nephropathy, renal replacement therapies, and hereditary renal diseases. She is also highly skilled in the pre- and post-operative care of kidney transplant patients and the management of kidney-related systemic disorders and hypertension.

With her extensive experience and expertise, Dr. Nasrin continues to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with kidney disorders, while also contributing to the academic and research fields in nephrology.
