Internal Medicine deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. It encompasses the care of all adults, healthy and sick. The services are extended to age group ranging from 12 years to geriatric patients.
The Department of Internal Medicine caters from proper identification of what is needed to heal the patient in both biomedical and humanistic terms, that is, physically, mentally and socially to complete evaluation, diagnosis and management of patients through OPD services, with strong back-up from laboratory and radiology departments.
Our Internists are highly-skilled in the management of patients who have undifferentiated or multi-system disease processes and provide differential diagnosis and primary care with rapid referral to sub specialist experts as required.
